With the dolphin fishing slowing down and the conditions on the edge looking great, we gave kite fishing a try yesterday. With live thread fins and some sardines hanging from the kite it only took around 5 minutes to catch our first sail, and then another. We were fishing off the cut in 130ft. After the wind died down and the kites would no longer fly we started to troll and caught another sail on a bonito strip. It was good fishing on the edge!!{%image_id=49565%} Offshore the boats did not catch any dolphin but with todays wind things could change. Keep a watch out for my reports and the return of the dolphin. Q{%image_id=48517%}

Tight Lines,

Capt. Quinton Dieterle
