Tarpon "Pre-Season" has Arrived! Permit are still showing on the flats in schools and singles, though the numbers are down as the bulk of the Permit flock have begun to consider spawning as their primary April activity. We have gotten a few more since the last report . We have been finding some laid-up Tarpon and some channel Tarpon the last couple of days and have been having some success with them.Bonefish are available all day long on the flats this time of year, making Grand Slam fishing possible. Before you travel to the Keys for some great Tarpon, Bonefish and Permit action, call Capt. Dexter Simmons for a live report 305-745-3304. Tight Lines and Screaming Reels!
