Bonefish Season in Full Swing! Bonefish are schooling up along all of the Gulf side flats, channels and basins, as air and water temps begin to moderate from summer highs. There are also Permit and Baby Tarpon around to complete that Grand Slam. The Fall season is regarded as the best time to fish for Trophy Bonefish. We have been finding them tailing on the grass flats at low tide, and cruising on the flats during incoming and outgoing tides. There have been small pods of fish on the outgoing tides and larger schools on the incoming tides. They are taking natural shrimp imitations primarily in tan, brown and olive green colors. Here is an 11 pounder taken just a few days ago!Click here to see streaming video of a "Beauty of an 8 pound Bonefish" landed on FlatsMaster Before you travel to the Keys for some outstanding Bonefishing this fall, contact Capt. Dexter Simmons for a "live report"! Call Capt. Dexter at 305-745-3304 or email at [email protected]. Tight Lines and Screaming Reels!
