Herds of Tarpon Moving Along Atlantic Flats Tarpon are moving in herds across some Atlantic flats and are schooled up on the Gulf flats as well. We have had many opportunities for Tarpon catches this past week, however the bite has been a bit slow. A falling barometer and a stiff SE wind combined with murky water has made it tough. This coming week should bring lighter winds, clearer water, and better tarpon fishing conditions.Permit are still "Marching" across the flats in big numbers, day after day. This action should continue through early April with fair weather. Now is a good time to plan a summer fishing trip! Our Father-Son Key West Flats Fishing Camps are scheduled for late June, July, August and September. Dexter Simmons for a future fishing charter by telephone at 305-745-3304 or by email at [email protected]
