Generally speaking, you can count on the weather to be predictably warm enough in May and June to bring our water temps into the low to mid 80's. The warming waters have a springing effect on the spawning migration of the Megalops Atlanticus schools. With light southeast winds and warm waters, the Tarpon will form "daisy chains" or a circles of swimming fish performing their spawning ritual in shallows along the island chain of the Florida Keys.
