8 Year Old Battles 70 LB Tarpon There is a very special "look" that young anglers have when they hook their first big fish on the flats. Connor Stewart and his dad Ron Stewart battled a 70 pound silver king Tarpon for nearly 20 minutes before the fish shook the hook and was free. Connor had made an excellent cast to a school of Tarpon near Key West and it looked liked the largest fish of the school succumbed to Connor's presentation.Here, the Tarpon jumps for Connor!Spring, summer and Fall are the best times of year to catch Bonefish in the Keys.
