Here they come! The Fishing Report. Feb. 10, 2004You can cut the anticipation with your push pole. This is the time of year when the Tarpon begin rolling en masse, the Permit begin their Marching, and the Bonefish are schooling from the channels onto the flats in good numbers. The weather is beginning to break in our favor, as the East to Southeast winds warm up the near shore waters. Tarpon of all sizes will be jumped......Permit will be grabbed... ...and Bonefish will be nettedGrand Slam season is right around the corner! In the meantime, the Cobia are on the flats! Here is Bob Fry of Montana with a 25 pounder destined for the grill!! Our Father (Mother) - Son (Daughter) Key West Flats Fishing Trips are now scheduled for throughout the summer, fall and winter.
