Thundering Fornicating Herd Pouncing on the Keys! May 14, 2007. The THUNDERING FORNICATING HERD ("TFH")of Tarpon is poised to pounce on the Keys flats. Today we had shots at several schools of 30+ Tarpon. There are also plenty of laid up Silver Kings around the basins. Here are some pics of Chris Levey and his catches of Tarpon and Bonefish. Chris caught the Bonefish with the same Cockroach fly that he caught the Tarpon with! The Tarpon Cockroach has also bagged a few Permit aboard FlatsMaster with Capt. Dexter Simmons. Capt. Dexter's Cockroach is truly a "Super-Fly" capable of landing a grand slam. Feel free to email Capt. Dexter for tying instructions. Tarpon will continue to migrate into the Keys this week, as the forecast is for warming temperatures with winds out of the East most of the week! When you are ready to book a charter or just talk fishing, contact Capt.
