Key West flats fishing.

{%image_id=48360%}A rain day this time of year can be a wonderful way to catch up on sleep or work on tackle. South Florida and the Florida keys got a big dose of rain last night and most of the day today. But I am happy to report the fishing has been good. On the flats off Key West there have been a good amount of bonefish and it's seems like the permit are working their way back inshore to the flats from the offshore spring time spawn. Lots of tarpon action too. Most of my clients this time of year are fly casters, however, the bait guys tell me the bite has been decent.
