The Fishing Report. March 4, 2009. Permit are Marching! During the past few weeks we have seen a strong influx of migrating Permit making their way onto Keys flats. The Marquesas, the Key West Lakes flats, and the Lower Keys flats have seen more and more Permit lately. This is a 15 pound Permit recently landed in the Marquesas. {%image_id=8297%} Ted caught this bonefish on the Atlantic side flats in 68 degree water! {%image_id=8296%} As the waters warm up into the mid to high 70's in between cold fronts, more waves of Tarpon, Bonefish, and Permit should be showing. Our Father (Mother) - Son (Daughter) Key West Flats Fishing Trips are now scheduled for throughout the winter, spring, summer and fall.
