July 22, 2010 There are a few signs of life offshore over the last few days, but still not normal for July. I'm thinking we're going to have a late run of dolphin through August and possible September. Inshore the Snapper fishing has been steady with some nice Bull, Lemon and Black tip sharks providing "bid fish" entertainment throughout the day. Still some Tarpon in the flats and a few left in Key West Harbor. The 2010 Drambuie Key West Marlin Tournament is having a tough time of it. Conditions aren't great and the weather didn't help, (TS Bonnie). There have been a few marlin hooked but none landed. As the late treasure hunter, Mel Fisher, used to say, "Today's the day". Any boat that catches a marlin today should be in the money. Time to pull out all stops and fish hard
