May 25, 2008. Strings, wads, pods, daisy chains and laid up moo-cow Tarpon have highlighted the fishing during the past 45 days. We have hooked up several Tarpon daily and we have landed some fish when the terminal tackle holds together. The silver king is well known for break offs and near misses. Yesterday, Mike Dinner broke off three large fish in the Marquesas (his own leaders - as well all know mine do not break! Ha Ha!!) The trained eye has spotted Bonefish on the flats on both sides of the Keys during the past month. On a few days when the tides and water temperature conditions were ideal, we spotted schools of Bonefish feeding against the incoming tide. Permit and Bonefish are still available in good numbers on the flats Gulf side of the Lower Keys. When you are ready to book a charter or just talk fishing, contact Capt.
