{%image_id=47491%}Spring tides can make for happy fish. Things are looking good down here in the lower Florida keys and Key West. Having lots of fun chasing "the gray ghost" on the flats. The bonefish seem to gobble up a well place fly or buck tail jig. If you wanna spend a bit more time searching the deeper flats and channels. The tarpon are definitly swimming from what I've seen. There might not be tons of tarpon around, however, if you find em' there is a damn good chance you will get to feed em'. Permit fishing is still not as good as I would hope or come to expect for March. Cooler water an unsettled weather patterns I believe this to be the culprit behind the less than average permit fishing. The remainder of this week should be good so long as the weather stays nice. Still a few prime tarpon dates available.
