
Winter Fishing in the Keys!

The Fishing Report. Feb. 15, 2013. A few cold fronts have brought in schools of big Jacks and Barracuda. Here is a good size Barracuda (15 pounds) caught by Andy Johnston! {%image_id=31425%} Permit are also showing in good numbers on the backcounty flats. Here is a nice one caught recently. {%image_id=29313%} Jacks of good size are showing on the flats. Here is a large one caught recently by Anthony. {%image_id=31426%} Anthony and his buddy Dylan shared the day on FlatsMaster with Capt. Dexter and landed a few more Jacks, including this double hook up 0f 12-14 pounders. {%image_id=31427%} For any angler a big Jack is always a fun tussle on a 8 or 9 wt. rod.
