Little Torch Key, florida

January 09, 2014
While parts of the country are battling snow, ice, blizzards and other winter weather conditions.. It was been a very pleasant winter here in the Florida Keys. Our first real cold front was on Tuesday. Temperatures are currently back in the high 70's YAY!! Warmer water temperatures, give us the chance to fish for permit, tarpon and bonefish. How ever there are lots of other fish to target this time of year.. Trout, ladyfish, redfish, jacks, cudas and sharks are all fun too! Lots of redfish in the back country this winter. Redfish are more tolerant of cooler water temperatures Winter time is barracuda time.. Barracuda fishing is a blast! They are faster then a bonefish and can jump higher then a tarpon.
