April Action on the Troll

When you see the calendar go into April, then thoughts of kite fishing enter your mind. This April fishing has been more active on the troll than live baiting or kite fishing. The trolling has produced more action due to the lack of north current and the constant seaweed on the surface. The kingfish and bonita bite has been on the planer with spoons or sea witches over strips of bonita. The best depth has been 100' to 150'. There has been a fairly good shark bite in the 250' to 300'. There have been more Dusky and round nose sharks than the expected Hammerhead shark bite. We expect the springtime mahi-mahi offshore bite to begin any time now so reserve! Our favorite trip is the six hour beginning at 7:00 AM.
