Fall Fishing Kicking into Gear

It seems like fall fishing is trying to kick into gear. The other afternoon the herring bit at the stantion and the crew of the Blue Waters 2 found the edge and sent out the kite and rigger baits. The first bite was dolphin, four in total, gaffer size. Finally, on the kite a 5 foot sailfish chased a kite bait until he gobbled it. The line came tight and the fight was on. The angler was hooked-up on a spinning rod setup and had the time of his life fighting that fish. The sailfish was released at the boat and a celebratory round of beverages was had on the way in. {%image_id=45663%} {%image_id=45662%} We have plenty of openings in the next few weeks for charters so call or email us.
