It's been a busy week of families and friends taking time off to fish and enjoy the ocean. The weather has been very calm which is super for our first time anglers. The bad news was there were acres of seaweed in all depths. This sea weed would normally be good news but there is no bait under the weed. The mate has had to double down at clearing the lines. The catch has been big barracudas, summertime bonitas, kingfish, and a few dolphin mixed in. The anglers were even delighted to catch and release a sailfish on the planner with a sea witch and strip as bait. As the week went on, the dolphin bite got progressively further offshore. So book an all-day if your target is to capture some mahi-mahi. {%image_id=60081%} {%image_id=60080%} {%image_id=60079%} {%image_id=60078%} {%image_id=60077%} {%image_id=60076%} {%image_id=60075%} {%image_id=60074%} {%image_id=60082%} Wishing everyone a safe and fun July 4th. We'll be on the rip in the am ourselves. Captain John Barker Blue Waters 2 305-373-5016 www.fishingmiami.net
