It's almost been a month since my last report so let me catch you up as quickly as possible. This means fewer words and more pictures! North Bay fishing has been OK! When I have been able to catch live baitfish that are big enough to attract a special fish we have caught large jack crevalles, snook, sharks and big sea trout. Most of this fishing has been from 7 AM till noon. After that I have seen a quick drop in the action due to the heat. {%image_id=44057%}{%image_id=44060%}{%image_id=44061%}{%image_id=44058%}{%image_id=44054%}{%image_id=44053%}{%image_id=44052%}{%image_id=44051%}{%image_id=44048%}{%image_id=44049%}{%image_id=44043%}{%image_id=44035%} Flamingo has been good for snook, sea trout, sharks, tripletail, redfish, jacks, ladyfish and snapper and the fishing in Flamingo has been steady all day. {%image_id=44065%}{%image_id=44064%} {%image_id=44042%}{%image_id=44041%}{%image_id=44034%} Offshore fishing offshore of Miami has been good at times especially if you're looking for blackfin tuna and dolphins. {%image_id=44066%} {%image_id=44037%}{%image_id=44038%}Mustad 1/0 Ultra Point short shank hook{%image_id=44044%}{%image_id=44039%}{%image_id=44040%} Freshwater fishing has been outstanding due to our lack of a rainy season. I have been fishing the Conservation Areas that have canals and catching largemouth bass to five pounds plus plenty of panfish, gars and a few pickerel. All of the catches are being made with Rapala floating minnows, Pop R's and soft plastics. {%image_id=44062%}{%image_id=44063%}{%image_id=44050%}{%image_id=44045%}{%image_id=44046%}{%image_id=44047%}{%image_id=44033%} I recently was introduced to SoftScience shoes and have been wearing a pair called Fins on my boat during charters. I can't say enough good things about these shoes. Comfortable all day, water drains out of them faster than it comes in, grips my feet like they are part of me and they look great as well!
