January Starts with a Bang

January fishing has started off with a bang. The north current finally showed up, the herring have shown up at the bait stantion, and sailfish and kingfish are biting. The only obstacle has been the wind and seas off the charts on several days. The bite has been sailfish on the kite and off live bait on the outriggers.
