Low Water Levels in the Glades means huge numbers of Bass

I only charter for largemouth bass during the low water periods of the year in South Florida. Right now and for the past few months water levels are low enough to have big numbers of largemouth bass, pickerel and many other freshwater species holding in the canal systems of the Everglades Conservation Areas. This means lots of fish competing for the same food that translates into huge numbers of quality size largemouth bass being caught on soft plastics, Rapala floating minnows, and on fly. Even with the daily rain we have been having along the South Florida Coast the rain has failed to get to the canals where the bass are holding.
