Fishing North Biscayne Bay with Capt. Alan Sherman If you haven't been up early and outside before the sun rose then you may not have noticed a change in the air. Thats right a feel of autumn. just a hint but enough for the fish that participate in the fall migration to start showing up in the North Biscayne Bay Area. As we speak finger mullet, medium sized black mullet, pilchards and threadfin herring are moving in through Bakers Haulover Cut and scattering into the bay. This past week we caught some oversized ladyfish pushing 3lbs., nice quality sized Speckled Sea Trout, 1 to 2lb. mangrove snapper, barracudas to 10lbs., jack crevalles, bluerunners and tarpon & snook. Fishing Sat. on a half day we went 2 for 3 on tarpon to 25lbs. with plenty of action on trout, snappers, cudas and ladyfish. The migration is here and will only get better. Spanish mackeral and bluefish will slowly start filtering into the bay so grab your light tackle gear and take advantage of the great fishing thats happening right here in our back yard.

Tight Lines,

Capt. Alan Sherman
