Fishing North Biscayne Bay with Capt. Alan Sherman North Biscayne Bay has been alive with fish activity. Schools of bait from little glass minnows to finger mullet, adult mullet, pilchards, threadfin herring and spanish sardines are schooled up throughout the bay from Gov. Cut to Dumbfoundling Bay. I have found sea trout to 3 1/2lbs. on the grass flats feeding on these bait plus schools of small jack crevalles and barracudas with a few 20 lb. black tip sharks mixed in.Look for the schools of bait and match a lure to the size of the bait or cast a natural bait to the edges of the schools and hang on. I have not seen any schools of mackeral or bluefish in the bait only a few scattered ones but did have a nice pompano almost jump into the boat as it skipped by us. Tarpon and snook are feeding on the bait schools also. Capt. Alan Sherman
