Offshore Miami and Flamingo Reports

9/31/2012 Flamingo Report Did a quick trip to Flamingo and managed to boat 5 slot snook and 6 redfish on artificials and light tackle. {%image_id=29324%} 10/3/2012 Flamingo Report On Saturday we stayed out a bit longer, and were awarded by an incredibly Hot bite for the whole day. We boated 15 snook to 34", with the 5 largest snook taken on topwater plugs. The strikes were insane! We also boated 23 redifsh to 25" on artificials, two trout (made for two backcountry slams), black drum, mangrove snapper, spanish mackerel, goliath grouper and more on bucktail jigs. {%image_id=29323%} 10/7/2012 Offshore Miami Report Today we got out and managed to find a bit of life in around 850'. A triple of gaffer dolphin made things interesting in the cockpit, especially since we were using 10lb class spinning tackle. We found a log floating and released a few tiny wahoo's (weehoo). We followed this action up further inshore towards the end of the day with two bonita and two snake kingfish. {%image_id=29321%}
