Sailfishing Action Consistent off Miami
Miami, florida
Mark Houghtaling
March 09, 2008
This week we had steady winds and steady action on Sailfish. Although the winds were primarily from the south, the sailfish were hungry. Dolphin action continues to be spotty, but when they show up, they are welcomed to the fish box. We found many schools of dolphin this week that were moving south but they would not eat anything. They ignored live bait as well as dead. We did see a leatherback turtle and caught a 30 pound cobia following close by.
Tight Lines,
Capt. Mark Houghtaling
