The bite has been good in August. The water is very high but there are some really nice schools of redfish. The bite will only improve in September. The past week produced some really big reds{%image_id=22341%} and some quality slot sized redfish.{%image_id=22335%} Most of the redfish have come on cut bait or live shrimp. We have landed a few on MirrOlure Top Dog Jr. The key to catching these fish is casting your bait well ahead of the school and let the fish swim over your bait. Be careful not to land too close to the school or they will spook. We have not been fishing for trout because of the steady redfish bite. Once the fall mullet runs gets strong the fish will become more aggressive and will attack top water plugs.{%image_id=22340%} So fi you want to catch a trophy red September and October will provide you the best opportunity to make that happen. Check out some of the pics and visit our website. Call 407-405-0819 to book a trip. I only have 5 dyas open in September so call for those dates. October is filling up. Tight Lines and Good Fishing! {%image_id=22336%}
