We are starting March off with a blast of cold air and anyone who has listened to my reports knows this will mean some epic fishing for a while. The cold weather bunches the reds up into tight schools and pushes them into the creeks and will trigger the trout to feed like crazy . This means over the next week or so you can have some of your best days of fishing ever . Baits of choice are 1/8 ounce jig heads with gulp shrimp , live shrimp or a DOA paddle tail . With warm sunny days try a top water skitter walk size 8 in black and chrome or trout colored . I do have some days open in march get out there and have some fun on the water.
