53 pound Black Grouper

We ran a few half days and managed to catch a handfull of gags on all of our trips.We fished anywhere from 12 to 18 miles offshore using live pinfish and grunts.The trip of the week was a 12 hour trip out to 160'of water.Of course we released several red snappers up to 16 pds and kept 12 red groupers up to 15pds.On the last drop of the day we caught 4 keeper black groupers with three being 15 to 20 pds and the last fish of the trip being a 53pd beast we invited home for dinner.{%image_id=29623%}
