August Fishing in Naples Fl
Naples, florida

The fishing here in the Naples area has been fantastic. Bait can be found with the east winds keeping the gulf nice and calm. Get out early and hit the beaches before the sun comes up for some tarpon action. Using Doa Baitbusters and some live pilchards will prove to be your best bet. The snook bite has been great in the morning as well focusing on the last part of the outgoing tide and the start of the incoming. Look for small glass minnows along points and mangrove shorelines. Throwing out a handful of pilchards will help get these fish chewing. The bigger snook are still a little more into the bigger baits. Redfish can be found in the backcountry waters in the deeper holes where the water temps are a little cooler. August should continue to be a great month to fish as long as you get out there early and beat the storms and the heat.{%image_id=28309%}{%image_id=28310%}
