Big Snook

Big Snook have be Plentiful in the Naples & Marco island areas. The inshore and backcountry fishing has been spot on for this time of year. Snook are cruising the beaches in big numbers . Look pelicans diving or snowy egrets lined up on the beach feasting on small pods of baitfish. These are the areas I have been concentrating on and this is where you will find snook , redfish & sea trout . Tarpon have been cruising just off our beaches as well. Look for rolling fish early in the morning & make sure to position your boat to intercept the schools as they swim by. My bait of choice is Pass crabs, threadfin herring and even mullet.
