Christmas Eve Fishing Report

Took out a party of four from Wisconsin yesterday. Went about 14 miles South West of Wiggins Pass. We had beautiful weather and a decent snapper and porgy bite, so we ended up catching enough fish to make dinner. We also went 1/2 on kingfish landing one that was about 15 pounds. The highlight of the trip of the day was the sharks! We had 2 encounters with tiger sharks and ended up bringing one of them up to the boat that was approximately 10 feet long. We were not targeting them and one grabbed one of our kingfish rigs and the other grabbed a blue runner we had sitting on the bottom for grouper. It was definitely exciting bringing a fish that big up to the boat (doesn't happen all the time).{%image_id=51353%}{%image_id=51351%}{%image_id=51350%}{%image_id=51352%}
