Now that the fall months are here, it's time to target species from kayak especially reds and juvenile tarpon. With the change in season comes lower tides and cleaner water making it the opportune time to target reds on the flats and oyster bars wading on foot or by kayak. {%image_id=22620%} Year round resident tarpon in the backbays and canals chew flies well especially on a good outgoing tide with some cloud cover. Kayak fishing will only continue to improve for the next couple of months before cold front reach the deep south. {%image_id=22619%} {%image_id=22618%}
