Fall Redfishing Continues to Heat Up with the Cooler Water Temps

The onset of consistent cold fronts we've been experiencing lately accompanied by strong Northerly winds means lower than normal tides this week. We've had productive mornings wading the lower stages of the tides working the edges of the flats and oyster bars for redfish and snook using plastic shrimp rigged on a jighead and flies in various shrimp patterns. Tailing redfish have been in good numbers on the flats of Estero Bay and Pine Island. The most favorable stages of the tide for targeting tailing fish have been on the last stages of the outgoing to the first hour or two of the incoming tide depending on the height of the tide. {%image_id=29766%} www.finseekerguidedadventuresfl.com (239)682-3134
