Great December Fishing

The weather in Naples is perfect right now for fishing. Nice cool mornings and mild days have kept the Winter fishing above average. Bait is still holding strong on the wrecks and on the markers. I have been fishing both bait and jigs this month and having great success on both. Pompano, trout, bluefish and ladyfish are on the flats and in the deep channels. Tube jigs tipped with shrimp and DOA Key lime grubs are all you need. The pompano have been biting good on the tide switches and then the ladyfish take over. Trout have been scattered, but once located are in good numbers. They are also all nice fish in the 16-23in range. Snook seem to still be holding all over the place. Docks, passes, points and mangrove have all been holding fish. On warmer days Ive been hitting the docks and on colder days looking farther back in the bushes. The snook are all nice fish lately with some close to 35in. Snapper are still around the docks in good numbers to bring home for dinner. Give me a call and lets go fishing 239 404 6255
