Kingfish and amberjacks have shown up in big numbers the last 2 weeks. The kings have been anywhere from 2 miles out to 50 miles with the fish ranging from 3 pounds up to 40. The amberjacks are starting to show up on the closer wrecks and range in size from 15 pounders up to 50 pounds. There are still plenty of red groupers to be caught from 25 miles out to is far as you wish to run. We have been catching the Kings either trolling with planners and spoons or my favorite on the spinning rod would live pilchards. The amberjacks have been feeding mainly on blue runners .
