Naples Beach Snook/Inshore Trout report

Despite the less than favorable early morning tides we've been experiencing the last couple of weeks, there's been decent action along the beaches and on the flats catching the last of the outgoing and first of the incoming tides. As we're approaching summer, most of the action has been from sunup to the early part of the afternoon or early evening to dusk since the heat of the day slows the bite. We've been catching good numbers of snook along the beaches casting flies in small baitfish patterns and plugs particularly black and silver Rapala husky jerks and Mirrodine mini suspending baits. The snook have been averaging anywhere between the 18"-24" range. {%image_id=27089%} {%image_id=25314%} {%image_id=27092%} {%image_id=27090%}
