Naples Mixed Bag Winter Fishing 1/29/14

This week fishing was pretty consistent overall for a bit of everything. Anglers caught snook, redfish, trout, mackerel, bluefish, jewfish and jacks. I fished shrimp and jigs early and have fished live pilchards the last few days despite water temps in the mid 60's. The most action was in the deeper creeks on a incoming tide. What was weird was the places I expected to find snook and redfish were over run with jacks of all sizes. The snook were on spots that were colder and the water was cloudy.
