Four anglers onboard January, 12 2018. Targeted Grouper all day. Ended up with 5 Keepers to 27' and lost several others. We released a bunch of short grouper and kept about 20 Lane Snapper. Started off the day anchored up in approximately 45' of water. Bite was good and started catching fish immediately. Lost a nice grouper to the reef and decided to pull the anchor and start drifting with the sea anchor. We used Sand Perch in the 6"-9" size range for bait. We caught less fish drifting, but the ones we did catch were bigger. Ended up with 3 keepers and at about 11 am decided to run a little deeper to approximately 65' of water where we continued to drift and picked up 2 more grouper. It was good day, but we did have to work for the fish we got and it took all day to do it!{%image_id=51742%}{%image_id=51741%}{%image_id=51740%}{%image_id=51739%}
