The Wind Continiues to Blow!

By Ted Gibson Captain
This week has been tough as far as weather is concerned. The wind has been steadily holding at 15-20kts. We have been sticking to the Nearshore spots that we have within 10 miles of Wiggins Pass. Despite the windy conditions we have been getting into the king mackerel steadily over the last couple days. They have been ranging in size from 10-30 pounds; the bigger fish have for the most part been caught on Spanish mackerel and blue runners; although pilchards and threadfins have also produced fish. {%image_id=50584%}
