Went out for just a few hours this morning to do some exploring. The water levels are extremely high first off. Also there is so much trash floating around and mostly on the banks...Picked up as much as I could. I did see a ton of mullet here on the northern end of the lagoon. Caught a few very nice trout using a few piggies I had and on top water. Find the bait and find the fish...Always remember this. The rains started to pour at around 0900hours so headed in. The fishing should really take off the next week. Tight lines and be safe! Fish the World Famous Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River. Known as the Redfish Capital of the World.
