Fishing report for the week ending 12/20/09 with warmer than normal temps early in the week there are still plenty of baitfish in the bay and near the passes, the mackeral, trout and bluefish are feasting on these baitfish for probably there last time before this weekend coldfront moves them away. Snook have been easy to find in the clear water in transition to there winter homes, the smaller ones being much more aggressive. Redfish have been roaming the flats on higher water and also seem to not be in there winter holes yet. Fishing with Aron Alexander and a friend on wednesday in a thick fog until mid-morning we caught mackeral, bluefish, trout, a small blacktip shark and several nice pompano casting redfish majic in 3-6 ft. of water with patchy grass bottom. There are also grouper in the bay on any structure and some docks. Tight Lines. Happy Holidays. There is still time to get that perfect Christmas gift a fishing charter! Gift Certificates available.
