Mackerel on the Sand Bars

Big Mackerel and Ladyfish action on the sandbars just outside Captiva Pass. Tons of fun. Casting 3/4 oz. silver spoons and Kasting slabs from the bar back into the green deeper water is productive. It's not unusual to have three or four on at a time. King Macks in 35' to 50' of water around the bait balls. Trolling or freeline sabikied threads around hte edges of the bait balls works well.
