The wait for moving water

With winds out of the south i could not wait for the tide to start its journey in. The fishing was slow with a couple under slot trout and one nice flounder. We bounced around from grass flat to grass flat waiting for the bite to turn on. Well needless to say it did'nt. I decided to burn a little fuel and head towards a spot that has been treating me well. by the time we arrived the tide had started moving in. we pulled up, dropped anchor and the trout started popping our bait. At times i was taking a fish off the hook as one was laying in the net. We got our limit and headed for redfish and whatever else would bite a bait. The first fish was on Jims pole heading for the trees. It was a 26 inch snook that had alot of fight. We did'nt have but a few minutes left and was able to land another keeper flounder, underslot red and couple more nice trout. It was a successful day.{%image_id=25087%}{%image_id=25086%}
