Warming up for snook season...
Port Orange, florida

August 11, 2017
The snook bite remains really good. These fish are primarily feeding on the outgoing tide. Recent trips are producing between 10-20 snook up to 10lbs. Free-lined live shrimp will catch them even though large shrimp are hard to find these days. The inshore pompano bite has slowed down, but there are still some to be had. A few permit are also in the mix. Attached is a photo from Monday's charter. Capt. Larry Blakeslee, DeLand, shows off a 30", 10lb snook caught and released in Port Orange. {%image_id=55294%}
Tight Lines,
Capt. Kyle Busby
