Bigs ones at the bridge

Well i hope everyone had a nice fathers day. i know i sure did. this past weekend i had the opportunity to fish with local guide John Young (bites on fishing charters) despite having to deviate from our original game plan we still managed to catch a couple of snook. Of course no of them were 28 inches. I think we had about 4 big snook take us for a ride between the bridge pilings before releasing themselves on the barnacles. once again we found these mogan snook on the new Roosevelt bridge on 5 inch swimbaits. Our plan was to fish for snook in the morning then go along the beach with some crabs in search of the giant tarpon but once again the wind was blowing just a little to much. So we came back to the docks after the tide changed to try our luck but we used up all of luck at the Roosevelt bridge. Well there is always next weekend and until then good luck. Capt.
