Sanibel Island fishing Charter

Tarpon fishing around Sanibel Island is now in full swing. Lots of Tarpon have migrated to our area and will continue to move in for the month of May and June. Some of the silver kings will hang around until July and August. I have split my trips over the last several weeks with half of the trips taking Families fishing for Trout, Mackrel, ladyfish and a few redfish. The other trips have been for Tarpon. In the last week we have got two to the boat, lost 2 to giant sharks and jumped 2 or 3 per trip. This year seems to be more shark infested than previous years. The spectacular and sad sight of a giant Hammerhead or Bull shark exploding a hooked Tarpon is happening too often. {%image_id=16629%}
