Summer Shark Fishing

Fishing report for the week ending 8/2/09 with air and water temps at there peak and tarpon season over if you want big fish sharks are the way to go.Fishing with Mark Freudiger, his son and a friend we went 7-12 on lemon sharks and 1-3 on blacktips. The sharks average 5 to 8ft. and up to 90lbs.cutbaiting mackeral on low incoming tides in Pine Island Sound. Ther are still lots of good action inside the passes with Mackeral,trout,snapper,bluefish and ladyfish on live shinners. Snook are still around the beaches and passes. Tight Lines!
