Decent Sarasota river snook fishing

I ran four trips to the Myakka River and Braden River this past week. Action was decent, though we had to work for the fish. Snook and jack crevelle hit #10 gold Rapala X-Rap plugs and white Gulp jerk worms on a 1/8 ounce jig head. We landed fish on every trip, though we did not rack up big numbers or catch huge fish. Clients did have a couple nice fish leap and throw the plug. {%image_id=61663%}
