Red tide gone from Sarasota and fishing is good!

The good news is that the red tide seems to be gone and the water is looking good! After a cool and breezy start to the week, it warmed up nicely. Fishing the deep grass flats produced numerous trout to 20", along with some big ladyfish and a few bluefish and mackerel. Bass Assassin jigs and Gulp shrimp fooled them. A fly trip to the Myakka produced a snook and a few bites from gar, it looks like that is pretty much over now. {%image_id=71135%}
