We had a "My Bonnie" first-timer aboard today, Patrick Plankenhorn of Buckeye Lake OH and Melbourne FL--and we had steady action throughout the trip. The day started around the Indian River islands, with a nice passel of sea trout--caught on shrimp and artificial lures, using light tackle. We then moved towards the Sebastian Inlet and found ladyfish, jacks, and a mix of sea trout and silver trout. More than 30 fish were landed, and all were released. The water temps are heating up, and the fishing is improving daily. If the winds cooperate, we could be looking at perfect conditions very soon.
